Quick Apply Temporary 1 day ago Full Job Description Our small summer camp is currently seeking an energetic individual to serve as the Shooting Sports Director this summer for three weeks, June 26-July 01, July 02-08 and July 09-15.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all activities at the shooting sports area are managed effectively, providing support and training for youth staff and adult volunteers, working closely with our highly-trained staff.
The right candidate will have a passion for working with scouts, the scout oath and law and interact with counselors on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee the shooting sports program at summer camp.
Serve as a counselor/traininer for the youth staff and adult volunteers.
Organize merit badge classes for campers.
Attend and participate in camp activities.
Lead and direct the planning of weekly and daily programs.
Coordinate after class shooting events.
