The mission of the nonprofit is for peace and sustainability and this is done by working in the schools teaching nonviolent communication and restorative justice and trauma informed care and working in the community on sustainable projects like a managed houseless encampment/ecovillage and working on sustainable tourism initiatives for our county and state and working on restorative justice initiatives for our county and state and climate action in general and more.
The job includes handling events and grants and writing up legislation and organizing scheduling and taking minutes at meetings and a wide variety of tasks.
Being able to understand the goal of the task and then structuring and putting together the plan is an important skill for this position.
The individual will be asked to structure their time with guidance as to the priority and the intent and goals of the task.
This requires someone who has a lot of initiative, can think on their own and can work from both home and office and has a car to travel locally.
It would be helpful to have some understanding of restorative justice and nonviolent communication.
It would be important to understand how to research topics and organize tasks.
Skills that would be helpful include the use of Word and Excel and Google suite and Quickbooks and Click up and other programs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
