Occupational Therapist (Maui)

ALTRES Medical is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a long-term contract with Maui Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. In this role you will assist patients to improve, regain and/or develop the skills needed for day-to-day life and work.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-7:30pm with occasional weekends
Location
Wailuku, Maui
Pay
$41 an hour
Responsibilities
Work with patients of all ages with various psychiatric, substance abuse, and/or medical disorders.
Evaluate, prevent, restore, correct and develop optimal levels of function in areas of sensory motor, daily living, coping, cognition, socialization, work, education and leisure.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy.
Current Hawaii license to practice occupational therapy.
Current certification by the National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred. Previous experience in a psychiatric setting is desired.
