Psychiatry/Mental Health APRN (ORH-Maui)
This position is located at the Maui Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
The incumbent uses expert clinical judgment in the management of care to complex and specialized patient populations, resulting in a positive impact/improvement.
Guides staff in the implementation of nursing processes and evaluation of patient care outcomes.
Duties include, but not limited to:
o Organizes care delivery in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in a manner that promotes continuity and accountability for patient care.
o Develops and implements complex and sophisticated programs for optimizing patient care end enhanced management of resources.
o Participates in the development of Service Line/Service philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures.
o Implements policies and procedures, including medication administration at the unit level and monitors compliance by staff members.
o Initiates and leads program planning and problem identification/resolution resulting in improvement of care.
o Performs examinations as indicated:
physical and/or psychiatric to include ordering diagnostic studies such as laboratory and radiologic tests.
o Diagnoses medical and/or psychiatric conditions and prescribes medications appropriate to the condition(s).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
